Corruption of Eden

Share link

This is an image I made to illustrate the concept of manipulation, which often leads to corruption. I attempted to create a visual metaphor for its various forms of expression, from the highest hierarchies, or ranks, in the society, down to the lowest ones, pariah.

The key to understand the image is to first see the encompassing white creature, how it interacts with the external entity (the kaleidoscope), using its tongue. The creature is about to get a pill and it already has a tongue inside. If you look carefully, you may see that the snake is also attempting to connect with the outer entity, with its tongue. I also try to suggest that the snake somehow exerts its power over the hand that feeds the small green creatures. Notice that one green creature is discriminated, left outside, because somehow it is no longer privileged to get food.
