A portrait I painted, of a friend of mine. It suggests that when a girl becomes a woman various types of threats await her: temptations (the serpent) and predators (the wolves), those men who see women as objects of desire and nothing more. A girl hatches, metaphorically, into a world where she, as a woman, must quickly learn to avoid the dangers lurking in the society, sometimes "hidden" in plain sight.
