In this image I present love from an unhappy perspective. Only one takes the burden of making things move forward in the relationship and the other is careless and does not contribute, does not get involved to improve it. At compositional level, the long and desolate road, suggests that the emotional pains in this unfulfilled love is a seemingly endless drama for the striving person. With the pessimistic colors I emphasize the sadness of the situation. The intensely red heart underlines that it is a passionate love coming from the dedicated person, and it feels like an open wound, a vulnerability.
