Accessibility anarchist

With this sketch I am trying to mobilize disabled people to fight for accessibility, for their rights. This image presents a hypothetical situation, where a group of disabled militants and anarchists are witnessing a member of their group being sentenced to prison for causing social unrest.

The disability rights movement is much too weak. It needs to be rejuvenated with a forward thinking, adapted to the possibilities offered by globalization and the social media and the Internet. Strong willed disabled activists must arise from disabled communities to lead the minority towards a better integration of disabled people in the society. Disabled people, regardless of their specific disability, need to take action, to unite and to make a much stronger lobby in every corner of the world. Novel campaign ideas and a unity across all disabled people are the basis.

The sketch style is inspired by xkcd.com web comics.
